Hey guys, this is my first post on here and I just wanted to ask a question. I don't dip very much; I used to do it every once in a while but hadn't done it in about 7 weeks till the other day. I was studying for finals and I needed something to pick me up during the late nights so I went and bought a can of pouches (I know, a bad idea). Anyway, I left one of the pouches in the same place at the top of my mouth for several hours and now I have a small canker sore there. Is this anything to worry about or is it just from the irritation of the tobacco and the fact that I hadn't done it in a long time? Thanks for any replies.

Hello tweeter
It is most probably an apthous ulcer (canker sore) that should heal in 2-3 weeks or earlier. If not, see your dentist or doctor. Do try to keep away from tobacco. Good luck with the exams.
