Hi Guys
Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction here so I know whether it is worth bothering my dentist and/or doctor with this but this is my story.... I had an abcess a few years ago. I had a root canal as a result however the lump that I had on the roof of my mouth when I got the abcess is still present (although it is now hard whereas it was more soft when I actually had the infection). I have pointed this out to my dentist before but he has never bothered about it. Then, about 4 weeks ago, I developed a lump on my gum which is on the front of my top set of teeth. This lump seems to fluctuate in size and hardness. Sometimes it is quite squishy, but then sometimes it goes hard and quite raised. I cant figure out what triggers it off. It is always present in some form but doesnt cause any pain. Then today I have developed a further lump on the roof of my mouth however this one is more towards the back. This is a hard lump. Can anyone help me please and point me in the right direction? I have been searching around all internet sites but can find nothing, especially in relation to the lump on the gum at the front of my mouth. I am 27 and I dont smoke and only have the odd drink (dont know if this helps!!). Thanks people! x Mel |
