Lump in cheekGo ![]() | New ![]() | Find ![]() | Notify ![]() | Tools ![]() | Reply ![]()
I have migraines and lately they've been radiating from my head to my mouth on the right side. A few days ago I decided to check my mouth and see if there was anything that could be causing the mouth pain. I discovered a lump in my cheek and made an appointment to see a dentist. The dentist said the lump looks normal, like fat, but since I was concerned that I should follow up with an Oral Surgeon. The dentist wrote a referal that says, "Please evaluate a 8 x 5 mm collection of" (can't make out the word) "next to rt. retromolar - looks normal to me". This is the first time I've ever been to this dentist and I'm not sure what to think. He told me it looks normal AND wrote that it looks normal. Should I even bother going to an oral surgeon? Even if it looks normal to him, I don't have it on the other side of my mouth. Any idea what it might be?This message has been edited. Last edited by: Guest,

Hi Guest The thought of what it could be will nag you now if you don't go and see the oral surgeon! So go. Let us know how it turns out.
