Inner Cheek Swelling

Hello everyone!!I need an opinion desperately since i am having a difficult time (excuse my English, i am from Europe)
It all started 3 months ago when i noticed with my tongue a minor swelling in my inner cheek. It is located in the left cheek down in the corner of the mouth close to the lower lip. I didnt mind at the time. But the swellng kept growing gradually. I went to a doctor who couldnt see anything. And to another one. He said to have an ultrasound. It was negative. But the swelling kept growing. I went to another doctor who gave me antibiotics. Nothing happended. And now im going today to have an MRI on the face and the neck. The swelling is visible. Is like an edema. No change in color and really soft, not like a tumor. It is not palpable but visible. I am really scared. I have a 22 month old baby and i am terrified. I cry and i am really scared of what the MRI will show. I am 32 years old.
I am scared about oral lymphoma since it's the only thing i found at ther internet which matches my symptoms.
Please any advice would be enormously apprieciated.
Thank you all n advance.

Hi Frida

I'm sorry that you've gone to several doctors and not gotten anything definite.

Any results from the MRI? Are you in the habit of biting that spot? Do you, perhaps, have a tooth that rubs against the inside of your mouth? Has any of the doctors suggested a biopsy? It's about the most effective way to rule out or confirm cancer.

The best suggestion I can offer is to stop searching the internet for a diagnosis. It's good for a lot of things, but figuring out health problems is not one of them.

Thank you so much for the reply.
I am getting the results in 6 hours. I am really scared because the swelling keeps getting bigger. I am sure the MIR will show something and then a biopsy will be made. I cannot feel a tumor, only a very soft swelling.
I am really tired of not knowing what is the matter with me.
