I am distressed!! I finished my last radiology treatment on June 9, and today I have a bonified case of thrush. It came on suddenly and my doctors office is closed. Anyone have a quick remedy for the pain till morning??

Hello Molly I hope someone comes up with some help for you and quickly. I have just done a 'find' under the medication section and the only thing I can come up with is to rinse your mouth with salt water until you can get something from your doctor. Nystatin is usually prescribed in the UK. Thrush seems to be a common side effect after radiotherpay and many on here have suffered from it. If you want to have a read through previous posts just put 'Thrush' into the 'find' box. I hope you find some ease soon. Regards B x
