Hello! I am posting this regarding my boyfriend. He has place on his throat that has been there for a few months. He says it does not really bother him he just noticed it when he was brushing his teeth one day. I am a nurse and I looked at it once and evidentaly thought he was over-reacting about it. It is still there and I haven't been able to get him to go to the doctor. He had a nephew (13) that passed away last year with cancer. He doesn't want to go to the MD for fear that it will be cancer. I told him yesterday to describe it to me so here is his description: It is about the size of a pimple and reminds him of a blood blister. It is located on the throat, the area that would be red and blistered with strep throat. I am just looking for some answer or something to make him feel better.

yea, I agree just because someone (a doctor) doesn't say it is cancer does not mean it is NOT......he needs to go - better safe than sorry - not the time to shove the head in the sand....my dad thought his issue was nothing adn it turned out to be satge IV but he is now being treated - TREATABLE AND BEATABLE!!
