I have had a lump on the roof of my mouth for at least six months,it is hard very attached at the back left hand side, it has reciently been causing me irritation in my sinus, nose and eye on the same side, what is this likely to be?

Good Evening Hugo,
There are dozens of reasons why lumps appear in the mouth one of them is cancer, whilst the chances are small you can not afford to ignore the possibility so please see your dentist within the next few days.
The lump is obviously causing you both worry and discomfort so it needs sorting out for either of these reasons.
I hope it is something which is easily dealt with, please let us know how you get on.Bear in mind that you need to see your dentist soon.
Keep Smiling Razzer
John
