the first lump is behing my lower teeth on the gum.
its very small. . and has a layer of normal skin over it. . i can move the skin and underneath it looks white. its hard (like bone) but can be moved slightly however the base remains attached. it doesnt hurt. its only small the second is on my lower gum behind the teeth again. . this one is to the left and very low down on the gum. . its completly movable over the gum and is abit bigger than the first lump and firm. . its also painless the 3rd lump in a simliar place to the second lump. . but abit higher up.. its not as firm. . and hard to tell if it moves much but doesnt seem attached to the floor of the gum.. this one is smaller than the second and also painless any ideas? im 16 males and dont smoke, do any sound like cancer? and i carnt see any of the lumps except for the 1st one (even that i can only see if i force the skin back) |

Hi P-16
This isn't really the place for diagnosis. Have you seen either a GP or dentist for this? You ought to see a doctor if only to rule out cancer. (I've got my fingers crossed for you.) Unfortunately, not smoking does not guarantee that you won't or can't get mouth cancer, nor does age. I'm not a smoker, yet I still had squamous cell carcinoma on my tongue. Sadly, I've also heard of very young children developing jaw cancer. Let us know how things turn out. Howdilly doodilly, survivorinos! |

Hello Problem 16
There are several bumps in the mouth that are normal and are often mistaken by patients for cancerous growths. Look at Figures 1.53 - 1.56 of this article called Examination Technique with Normal Findings and Structures Mistaken for Disease for pictures of normal appearances that might relate to your descriptions. Please see your dentist for a proper diagnosis. Let us know how you get on.
