Hi all, Have a question and wondered if anyone could help. I have a lump under the "v" part if you will of the jaw. Had a slight ache there then i noticed the next day a lump. Its a weird lump, as in its on my jaw bone and is like a ring shape - it extends up to the bottom of my teeth. i can tell it there when i look, but other people say they dont notice it. Nothing on the other side which is fine, no sore throat or neck pain. Nothing really. Just this lump has appeared. Only a slight pain when touched, but other than that the last 2 or 3 days have been normal other than me worrying about this. Anyone help would be great. Thanks John. p.s. i have no pain opening my mouth and chewing. I also have had a bout of gingervitus for the past 6 months. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Johnboyukuk,

Go see a dentist as soon as possible and if they can't help ask for areferal to the hospital. Don;t take any chances. Nothing to worry about but it is essential to seek medical advice. All the best and keep in contact! Tony
