Hello Charly A large swelling on the tongue - it may not be a cancer but i would be worried Get your brother to see a dentist /doctor as soon as possible to get a definitive diagnosis and appropriate treatment! Let us know what it is. Best wishes Vinod

It is probable that he's had a biopsy done. You can read past posts on biopsies for some advice.
