hello everybody,
I just wondered if anyone can shed any light on a small painless lump that has developed in my lower gum. It is the size of a small pea and i am only aware of it when i touch it with my finger or tongue. I have had a bit of a cold recently, sore throat etc, are these connected? Nick |

Good evening Nick,
These things are always a bit of a worry are they not? There are many reasons for such things, most of them are minor but one or two need professional attention. If the lump has been there for three weeks you should see your dentist in the short term,If for any reason your dentist can't see you then fix an appointment with your doctor.Let us know how you get on. Keep Smiling John |
