So I was just looking at my tongue today, for no reason, and I found in the back of my tongue...about three-fourths in... that in addition to some white bumps that form a V (I assume those are normal), there's a sort of white patch in the center of the back of my tongue. The rest of my tongue is a normal, pinkish color.

I don't smoke cigarettes, and I smoke hookah or cigars about once a month, on average.

Is this something I should be concerned about?

Hi, read your post & suggest you get a check. Not suggesting anything wrong but think it would be the advice of many who visit this site.
So you spend a few dollars going to the doc but hey better to do it now and be told it's nothing to worry about or an infection that can be sorted than leave it to chance.Good luck & let us all know how you got on. Susie
