Hi All
Have noticed over the past 3 months or so that my gums in line where the RT beam entered have started to recede any suggestions on possible treatment? I use all the usual mouth stuff (biotene etc), teeth an gums were in very good condition before treatment some 18 months ago. I see my dentist hygiene every 4 months or so. Thanks Tony |

Hello Tony
The gumline can only recede when there has been prior bone loss from periodontal disease. Recession of the gumline often occurs with improvement of the periodontal condition when oral hygiene is improved - a good response!
