About 8 months ago, I had a lesion biopsied that turned out to be hyperkeratosis with no dysplasia. Two days ago my tongue felt a little strange on one side so I looked at it in the mirror and didn't find anything. I looked on the other side, and oh great!!! there is a growth. I don't want to call my doctor, but I guess I'd better. The growth does not look good - it's red and white with what looks like a small blood blister near it. It's at the very back of my tongue on the side. I'll make the appointment today. I feel scared and I am trying not to cry. | |||

Moved Reply: Hello Spook Most times, it isn't anything thing but another bit of hyperplasia or normal tissue you hadn't noticed before but you should get every concern checked out. So, you are doing the right thing. Let's hope all turns out normal. Keep us informed.
