Hello
I'm going in on 18 Nov to have have my half thyroid removed for further investigation. I have a lump which has abnormal cells. My concern is that I've just had repeat blood tests done at the doctors and my ferratin levels are 16, so I'm back on iron tablets, (my levels had dropped earlier in the year). I'm now worried whether this might stop me having the Op. I'm having a pre-op next week, the nurse said they will be doing blood tests etc. Has anyone else had this. The waiting and not knowing is driving me nuts.
