Hard mass on rear of palate

In the last 3 weeks the roof of my mouth has been going berzerk. I have 2 bumps that have appeared the way many describe here. But what about this:

Both sides of the very back of my hard palate became sore after very heavy drinking. The left side was worse, I felt it constantly with my tongue. In less than 24 hours, I felt a small nodular protrusion emerge out the back of my rear palate. The soreness stopped, it's gone. You cannot see this with the eye, but I can feel it with my tongue or finger.

So it grew in less than 24 hours, and has remained stable for the last 48 hours. Are we talking minor salivary gland tumor? Is there a relationship between that event and the other 2 bumps all of which have appeared within 3 weeks?

Hello superfreakout

The alcohol you drank could have caused a sore throat by itself and also through gastric regurgitation. Why do you abuse your body through heavy drinking?

Look at this article called Examination Technique with Normal Findings and Structures Mistaken for Disease for pictures of normal appearances.

Please see your dentist or doctor about any abnormalities that don't resolve after 3 weeks. Let us know how you get on.

Best wishes
