hey, i am a 24 year old male smoker. im a bit of a hypocondriac. earlier today i found a small hard bump on the roof of my mouth just right of the boney center ridge and all of the way up front touching the gums. it is i guess coming out of the gums and only half of it can be felt. it is very small, hard and fixed. i dont know what this is? i am hoping it is not cancer of course but cannot go to the dentist for a few more days. any idea of what this can be? i might have had it forever and i might not have. anyway, thanks for the help.

I read your post the day it was written... but had no "wisdom" to offer about the lump you described. (The answers could only come from medical pros, of course, and I was glad to know you would be seeing your dentist.) But I did send up a series of "please-let-him-be-okay" prayers on your behalf

Just wondering if you've had your dental evaluation by now and what was said about the lump. Post a response when you can so that myself (and other members) will know how you are faring. Still praying all is well
