Hi friend

You should only get concerned about the possibility of a mouth cancer if the lesion has been there for some while (3 weeks). So your doctor is possibly right about it being an infection.

Use this as your wake-up call to take steps to improve your chances of good health by stopping smoking and seeking stress counselling (which will teach you techniques to manage it).

Best wishes

Dear Friend,If this is something that you have to find a cancer forum to ask what you should or shouldn't do, then I feel that you are not satisfied with the answers you have gotten about this. If that is the case--then get a Doctor that can get to the bottom of this for u. I agree that it could be this or it could be that,,,keep a close eye on this tho, for most of us on here have had something like this. It started as a small white bump..If it continue's to grow of hurt, May I suggest to see an oral surgeon they know all about this. I had the first one removed,, The second one I wasn't as lucky with.If you sit around and do nothing while it is inside you doing everything--well I think you see where I am going with this..So please don't just sit and let it grow, get out there find out what it is for sure. OKAY????? Please do it for you, do for your own piece of mind.In the meantime I will be praying for you as I do all that have this become a victum of this disease, I also give thanks for all those who have walked away from this and have never had to look back.God Bless Them and Love them. Amen
.Keep us informed, talk to us, ask us questions that is why we are here...Always, Vicki Lynn
