I have these 2 lumps on the soft plate of the mouth close to the back of the tongue.It look soft and pink. When I feel discomfort I look at the side that I feel the Discomfort and the lump is a little swollen, sometimes I see white stuff next to it. Ive had these 2 lumps for a while now that I remember. So like every 6 months I get this pain when I swallow then I get a cough and get stuffy nose. So I get it 2 weeks ago I take antibiotics for 10 days and it went away then came back so I went to emergency room to see whats up. They say what I have is herpes simplex. I don't believe that cause this is something Ive had since I was a kid. So I go and see my doctor he sees allergies in the nose also he did a test on my throat and it came back negative nothing grew. I guess he cant see the lumps on my soft plate I told him I have 2 lumps
he told me no. I'm so frustrated now I have discomfort again and I see white stuff near the lump. Any opinions please? I'm also taking claritin and flonase from DR.

Have you been to the dentist recently. They are very good at recognising problems in the mouth. General Doc's and emergency rooms are not always so up to date on the mouth, where as dentists work in this area all the time. Might be an idea to get checked out there and mention the lumps to him/her.
