Hi! And thanks for the priveledge of being a part of this community. I had dental surgery in July, and while numb, chewed the crap out of my lower lip. Since then, I've had this annoying (but not painful) blister. It looks like a typical blister, transparent skin with clear fluid inside. It subsides from time to time, but has never gone away. It has what appears to be a little """head""" which looks red from time to time. I often bite it, which causes it to flare up over and over again. What the heck???

Hello LaurelAnn
You seem to be describing a minor salivary gland mucous retention cyst . Your dentist should be able to confirm this and refer you to a maxillofacial surgeon to remove it under local anaesthesia. Best wishes Vinod :coffee: :coffee: (it's late in the UK!) :coffee: Disclaimer: Please see your own dentist/doctor for a proper diagnosis as my words should not, in any circumstances, be taken as dental/medical advice.
