Hello, all, On September 2 I had a chirurgical intervention for cancer of the tongue. About a third of my tongue was cut off, and I had a neck dissection. Three weeks later, the neck is all right, but the tongue still hurts, and there is a yellowish supuration. Is this normal? I have been given anti inflammatories and mild analgesics. Thanks for your answers! Shoshana from Buenos Aires

Hi Shoshona Have you talked to your doctor about this? Do you have a fever or any swelling along with it? It could be nothing, but why take that chance--please go to the doctor. Let us know how this turns out, y muy buena suerte. Julia Howdilly doodilly, survivorinos!

Hi, Julia, thanks for the prompt answer. I went to my surgeon yesterday. He says it' normal, part of the healing process. However, he suggested an echography and an endoscopy in a month. Take care! Shoshana
