I have a QuestionGo ![]() | New ![]() | Find ![]() | Notify ![]() | Tools ![]() | Reply ![]()
Hi, I have what seems to be a kinda flat piece of tissue on the inside of my cheek way back on the left side kinda close to my wisdom tooth and I have had it for maybe close to two months, and a couple weeks ago there was this sesame seed sized thing with a little bit of blood in it, almost like a mini blood blister I guess. It dosen't really hurt but it get's a little agitated. A little before I noticed the tissue I had horrible jaw pain and swelling in the area where the tissue is now and I could barely open my mouth. My jaw is a little tender sometimes but dosen't really hurt now. I have a doctor's appointment for this on Tuesday but I just wanted some opinions. Oh, and I am a 20 year old (21 July 2nd) female and I don't smoke or drink. Thanks ahead of time. This message has been edited. Last edited by: chris-chan,

Hello Chris-Chan The sesame seed sized thing with a little bit of blood in it was probably a mini blood blister related to clenching activity that resulted in horrible jaw pain with difficulty in open your mouth. The swelling in the area where the tissue is now might be related to a wisdom tooth infection. It is most unlikely that you have a mouth cancer but please see your dentist or doctor for a proper diagnosis. Do let us know how you get on.
