Yesterday i discovered i had 2 lumps on the roof of my mouth.

they are between my back mollars on the hard palate and their locations seem fairly symetrical.

There didnt seem to be any onset time. they just apeared and have been just as big and bad the whole time.

the actualy tissue is not irratated at all to touch or to use my toothbrush on, nor is there any discoloration. it kind of feels like new teeth comeing out from the roof of my mouth. Theres a pressure/pain from them when ever i swallow. none of which is realy bad unless i eat something, in which case they swell larger and stay sore for 10-15 minuits. cold water or ice seems to bring it back to that base line discomfort faster.

Also, my girl friend has the exact same problem, discovered within just a couple of hours of when i noticed mine. however hers is only 1 lump on 1 side. but she also complains of more symptoms like muncle and joint aches and slight nausea.

The only reason i dont think its mumps is because of the location. it seems mumps should be farther back and be visable or feelable through the cheeks.

Any ideas?

Hello Icky

I am sorry your post was missed. So what was the diagnosis about the lumps on the roof of your mouth?

Best wishes
