Looking at my throat yesterday I discovered a large lump behind where the tonsils and that dangly bit is. I can definately feel it - that's why I looked, and have been feeling generally ill and tired for a while - was told it was exam stress and to chill out. I'm getting nausea around my throat, if that makes sense - sort of like when you put your finger too far back, which makes sense with this stray growth.
I'm also struggling to raise my voice and even now finding my voice struggling to cope with normal speech if I say too much. It seems to be fairly regular in shape, although it's hard to see and so I'm not sure. It's just sort of sticking up. I'm going to get it checked out ASAP but I just wondered if anyone had any clue what's going on, because I'm pretty worried about it. |

Hello speakmoretti
You might just be having a bad throat infection. You are doing the right thing in getting it checked out by your doctor. Tell him/her that you have been feeling generally ill and tired for a while so that you are investigated thoroughly. Let us know how you get on.
