Hello Everybody,
I have this lump right on the tip of my tongue, I have had it for a couple of years at least and it seems to always of stayed the same size and color its also painless half the reasons I have just ignored it (Not always wise I know), I think I developed it after burning my tongue but cant be totally sure that's the cause of it.

Even if its nothing to worry about, I would like to get it removed as its pretty hard to miss right on the tip.

heres a photo, its about 2-3mm in diameter

Guessing first step is making a appointment with GP rather than
the dentist?

Hi Oliver

I would go to the dentist first as he (she?) would be more familiar with what is and isn't right in your mouth.

Please let us know how it turns out.

Hello Oliver

If it has been there for two years and there is a history of trauma and based on its appearance, it is unlikely to be a mouth cancer. It is probably a healed 'scar'. It is not possible to make a diagnosis over the Internet so you should ask your dentist to have a look.

Best wishes
