Hello,

A few months ago I noticed my uvula was kind of split. It seemed to have a small growth on the side/back. It didn't bother me and I forgot about it. The past few days I could feel something on the back of my tongue and tonight I noticed the little growth is kind of hanging off sideways...much more detached than before. It is exactly the same color and appears to be the same texture as my uvula.

Of course I have spent the last 2 hours bawling and searching online, thinking I have cancer. I am 23 and have smoked 0-2 packs/week for almost 3 years. I plan on making an appointment with a doctor first thing tomorrow. But I live alone and could use a little input because my mind only goes to cancer.

Either way I have wanted to quit smoking for some time now and definitely just found the power to do it.
