This morning I noticed a big bump on the back of my tongue. I cant see it but I can feel it when I put my finger in my mouth (like im gonna make myself sick). It doesnt hurt at all. I can feel it when I swallow. It feels like I have a popcorn kernel stuck in my throat. Thats the best way I can describe it. My mom thinks its a swollen taste bud. Any ideas what it might be?

Good Morning RS, The advice is always the same:- "If changes occur in the mouth and do not clear in three weeks see your dentist or doctor." In the meantime try not to worry about it,this is day one and as likely as not the lump will clear in the next day or two, decision day is twenty days away unless this becomes more of a problem. John, Thank you so much. I gargled with warm salt water and it seemed to have gone away. Not sure what it was but Im glad its gone! Randi

Good afternoon Randi, I'll bet you are glad it has gone away. If you bear in mind the "three week rule" your visit to the MCF website won't have been a waste of time. Keep Smiling John
