What are the best tools for diagnosing oral and head and neck cancers. I have had many tests that aren't giving a solid answer. I have pain and numbness in my jaw and under tongue. Also the dos found herniated discs in my neck. Help!

Hello cookie

I am sorry I missed your post. If your local oral and maxillofacial surgeon can't diagnose a head and neck cancer, you can always get a second opinion. But if both can't find a cancer, you should accept that there is no cancer present/detectable that needs treating. There are several cause for pain and numbness in the jaw and tongue. Cancer in the head and neck does not cause herniated discs in the neck. Your local specialists should be able to explain your symptoms.

Hope that helps.

Best wishes
