Hi,
My name is Steven, not sure if im leaving my plea in the correct message board, however i'll leave it in hope that someone can point me in the right direction. My mum was diagnosed with mouth cancer last year. After an operation to treat it was to certain extent unsuccessful. She has just went through a programme of radiotherapy which will hopefuly be a success. The problem is that she has now developed severe mouth ulcers on her bottom gum which are causing great discomfort. The hospital have given her morphine to dull the pain but is there anything else that could be recommended to ease her discomfort and inflamation |

Hi Steven
Sorry to hear about your mum. You can find out more about the side effects of her treatment here: PATIENT'S GUIDE > COMPLICATIONS Some of my patients have found Gelclair helpful in dealing with the mouth ulcers and sore mouth caused by the radiotherapy. Best wishes Vinod :coffee: Disclaimer: Please see your own dentist/doctor for a proper diagnosis as my words should not, in any circumstances, be taken as dental/medical advice.
