HI EVERYONE,

I HAD A PAPILLOMA REMOVED FROM MY UVULA IN JULY OF LAST YEAR. I HAVE BEEN GOING FOR REG CHECKS AND THE AREA HAS ALMOST TOTALLY HEALED...FROM BEING A BLACKENED NECROTIC AREA FROM THE CAUTERIZATION TO A WEIRD ROUND BUMP AND NOW IT IS NEARLY COMPLETELY FLAT...SSSOOOO...

I FELT THE AREA YESTERDAY AND IT FELT SMOOTH AND IS NEARLY GONE...TODAY I HAPPEN TO BE EATING AN ORANGE AND RUB MY TONGUE ON THE AREA AND FEEL SOMETHING LIKE A GRAIN OF SAND IN THE SAME (A LITTLE TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT CANT TELL IN THE MIRROR) AREA AS THE PAPILLOMA...

SO I GO IN AND LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND IT APPEARS TO BE A TINY, CLEAR SORTA BUBBLE THING...

I CAN FEEL IT MORE THAN I CAN SEE IT...SO...COULD THIS BE ANOTHER PAPILLOMA STARTING? IT WAS NOT THERE YESTERDAY...ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE IT WASNT THERE YESTERDAY...OR COULD IT BE A SALIVARY GLAND...MY DAUGHTER SAID, MOM, MAYBE ITS FROM EATING ALL THOSE ORANGES...I HAVE BEEN EATING AT LEAST AN ORANGE A DAY SOMETIMES TWO...TRYING TO STOP MY CHOCOLATE HABIT!

ANY HELP WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED...THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ MY POST.

JO

Hello Jo

It could be a minor salivary gland blowing bubbles Smiler. Give it a couple of weeks and look again. If it is a papilloma or other you will still see it and you can then ask your doctor what it might be.

Best wishes
