Hi All, I had a tongue biopsy done on Monday this week and the pain wasn't too bad afterwards but over the past couple of days its started throbbing and burning and is quite painful. I've had a look at the wound and it looks like some sort of white growth is on it and wondered if anybody else has experienced this before?

Found out what it is....an infection. I've been to the hospital and they examined it and have prescribed Co - Amoxiclav so hopefully they will do the trick.

Hi David Long distance high five! I'm so glad that you finally got a diagnosis. With any luck this antibiotic will do the trick. Julia Howdilly doodilly, survivorinos!

Hi Julia, I have an infection from the biopsy - I haven't got the actual results yet....still waiting for them. I get them a week on Tuesday so haven't got too long to wait. Thanks anyway, Best Wishes, Dave.
