My mother is 75 and has a white sore and bump in her mouth right behind her bottom teeth under her tongue. She is complaining that her mouth is always dry and everything she eats tastes bad. She is also having trouble swallowing and feels sick after she eats. She is eating very little. Do you think she could have mouth cancer?

Hi Kathy
Take your mother to see her dentist as soon as possible :alert: . If her dentist is concerned, she will be referred to see a specialist at the hospital. She would be seen within two weeks . Ignoring the sore won't make it go away :sigh: ! It is better to find out what the the matter is. Only then can you make informed decisions.
