Hi,
I have a friend that believes that he has throat cancer and show it to me the other day. He is scared to death and so am I. I don't know if it is cancer but it looks very abnormal. He has a white oval shape chunk of tissue hanging from behind his throat near the tonsil I believe. I know nothing about cancer or cancer cell or what color it is suppose to be. So I can give you my opinion but urge him to go see the doctor a.s.a.p but he refuse to go until a month from now just to see if it will go away.Please give me a professional opinion on what you all think or what I should do to help him/her. SHould I dragged him/her to the doc because I'm scared for my friend and so worried. I hope it is just some bateria infection that he/she had. What do you all think. And please do educate me a bit about this stuff because I'm totally clueless. Thank you so much to all that reply.

It may or may not be a cancer but it is stupid to take chances , as early detection is the key to survival with less morbidity. I suspect your friend might have a tonsil stone. Your friend should see his doctor for an opinion. Do let us know how he gets on.
