Hey there, a week ago I noticed a lump in the left part of my lower lip. Then it did not bother me that much so I ignored it thinking it would go away. Now that lump seemed to have caused pus to show closer to the surface of my lips. I thought it was a pimple and decided to pop it (bad idea), well, pus oozed out but just on the surface, there seems to be more deeper inside but I decided not to aggravate the matter anymore. I also noticed really small pimples around this big pimple(like less than 1mm small) which also contained a little pus i think. I've always had chapped lips and have bad habit of picking on them but I am not sure if this is the cause of it. I have had no flu, no fever, feel totally fine except for this thing in my lips.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I sometimes get small pimples right around my lipline that grow into my lip--hurts like a son of a mother--but never encounter pus. The best suggestion I can give you is PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go to the doctor and have it checked out. It could be nothing (an allergic reaction to something you've eaten or drunk, maybe), but better safe than sorry. Also (and I know this won't be easy) stop fussing around with it. The more you poke at it with your fingers, the more irritated it'll be.
