Lump on the roof of my mouthGo ![]() | New ![]() | Find ![]() | Notify ![]() | Tools ![]() | Reply ![]()
I have been having concerns over my health the last couple months, a lump appeared in the back of my throat (no discoloration) where my tonsils used to be and I was told it was vegetation that had grown back and there was nothing to be worried about, a couple days ago I noticed a small lump on the right side of the roof of my mouth, I am concerned about it but maybe I should wait a couple of days to see if it goes away, I have attached a couple pictures, you can see the area in the left side of the picture, should I see an ENT ? I am 19 years old and have smoked probably five times in my entire life

Hi JR87 Just for your own peace of mind, I would suggest that you should visit your equivalent of a GP. He would be able to give you a more professional opinion and if necessary refer you to a ENT professional. I personally doubt whether smoking 5 times in your life has anything to do with this - but as you're obviously aware that smoking is not good for your health and you've had this scare now - that sounds to me to be a good enough reason for never smoking again! Good luck - Pete
