Friend of mine underwent bil neck dissection at begining of month. Just started chemo. Has been told he has 'trismus'. Is this likely be due to nerve damage whilst undergoing surgery or due to chemo? Is it likely to be long or short term? Any advice on it? Thank you

Hello S Follow this link to previous postings:Trismus Hope the advice given there is helpful. thank you for your very prompt reply. I had read a few of those postings, but not all. I am hoping it is just nerve/muscle damage post op as mandible was untouched. I think it may have been aggrivated by the 3 dental extractions required prior to chemo starting. Thanks again
