Question:
thankyou Amarjudas for quick reply ,i am grateful for your help. The one thing that worries me is whether these specialists can tell what this lump is just by looking at it and if they tell you to have a biopsy does that mean that its serious and expect the worst!?

A lot of the time they won't send you for a biopsy, if you're nervous enough you can ask if one is required.

A lot of the time they'll tell you what the problem is, however if they think a biopsy is in order it doesn't neccesarily mean that they think its serious and to expect the worst, it simply means that they think the lump or bump is suspicious enough to warrent further investigation just in case.

Its hard not to be stressed and worried, but out of the possible plethora of things you should try to remain calm until a diagnosis from a specialist. The fact that your GP thought it was nothing is a good sign. Just remember, that no matter what having a healthy body is important, and stress in high enough doses can do some funny things to the body.

I totally agree, just take one day at a time - don't stress before you know the outcome and good luck Smiler

I asked the Lord to bless you
As I prayed for you today,
To guide you and protect you
As you go along your way...

His love is always with you
His promises are true,
And when we give Him all our cares
You know He will see us through.

So when the road you're travelling on
Seems difficult at best...
Just remember we are here praying

And God will do the rest.

I realize that belief is important to some people, but concerning medical matters I think that until someone gets some actual existance that there is a god that one should follow proper medical procedure, and place hope in the specialists that actually do the work.

I know a woman that didn't go for treatment for bone cancer in her leg, instead believing that the good lord cured it for her. Now, a decade later, theres a lump the size of a fist in her leg.
