When we consider Christmas there are four stages in life:-
1)you believe in Santa 2)you don't believe in Santa 3)you are Santa 4)you look like Santa Keep Smiling John |

Good morning Sue
Stage 5!(my white hair fell out)I gave your Christmas request some thought but the packaging was a problem, you could try Biotene, that comes ready packaged. Keep Smiling John |

Good for you Sue,I think you probably agree with me when I say that what we used to accept as normal has now changed considerably, but once you get used to the "new normality" everything is normal again!Food has always been an important source of pleasure for me but that did not extend to IV and nasal feeding so when they kindly removed the plumbing and said I was to have a "proper"meal I was delighted. It was shepherd's pie liquidised, I was not delighted! The thought of this disgusting jollop drove me on to eating as near normal as possible in a very short time.I think the liquidised shepherd's pie therapy is part of the NHS strategy to get folks out of hospital in the minimum time,it certainly worked with me.
Keep Smiling John |
