Recently I read that inner peace can be found by finishing off the things left unfinished from yesterday, so I took a look around and found the remains of a box of chocolates,an opened bottle of gin (still half full)and a case of Stella with only two cans removed.I am happy to report that the philosophy works.

Hi Paul, I know that feeling, but as you well know it's pure pain,
how are you doing?

Paul 25 years ago I had a dental jaw operation and my mouth was encased with silver plates for 11 weeks and I had to eat avery similar diet to the one I had during treatment. At that time one day I met a very fat lady who had asked to have her teeth clamped with fine wire to stop her eating. But in the waiting room she told me she still managed to cheat the system which to me seemed to defeat the extreme measures she had taken.

She said she still could slowly eat chocolate. She would make a cup of hot chocolate or hot milk and dip Cadburys Flake into the drink and draw it through her teeth gaps. She also used to do the same with Matchmaker chocolate mint sticks, although there are more flavours now.

So it may be worth a try. When my eating was poor I found the matchmakers a good idea the first Xmas as there is a small flavour burst of orange or mint too. Back then I could only manage a half stick before feeling it was too choccy tasting.

Also have you tried jaffa cakes. I know its not the ame as proper chocolate, but it's worth trying again. You could also try Frys Turkish Delight. Also some chocolates are easier to eat in this warmer weather as they are already soft.

Please excuse me if you have tried such things and just feel so frustrated by it.
