Jerry is going to have another pectoral flap done on 9/29. This is the earliest we can have it done.He is in so much pain with his ear. The Doctors have done (after we insisted) a MRI and CAT scan they say that they can not see anything. But when they do the pectoral flap they said that they are going to do a biopsy. To me it sounds like they do see something, like another tumour.

Going crazy here in Texas.

Hello Terry

Don't read the biopsy as ' there must be something there', rather see it as an insurance policy:'while they are cutting bits off, they might as well have a look at some of the tissue to make sure nothing is missed.'

Have a good weekend.

Best wishes

Hi Doc,
Thanks for answering. The last skin graft that they did rotted off and they put this tube down Jerry's nose to his throat. They were hoping that his saliva would go down his throat instead of the fistula. You can know see that tube. That fistual is open wide and it is terrible looking.

I can not get him in again until 9/14 to see the Dr. and they want to do surgery again on the 29th.

They did put him on a pain patch Thursday but it is not really helping.

I am afraid.

Terry
