Hello everyone,

As you will know, we are now fast approaching Mouth Cancer Awareness Week 2007.

The British Dental Health Foundation is the overall co ordinator of this campaign (which is supported by so many excellent organisations) and, in previous years, we have been lucky enough to have a number of volunteers from this very forum to help us with our media work. It has been greatly appreciated.

This year we have already been speaking to a number of high profile national newspapers and television shows who have expressed an interest in speaking to someone who has had mouth cancer about their experience.

As well as national media we also do a lot of work with regional and local newspapers and radio. This can be an excellent way of increasing awareness in your local area.
