The National Cancer Action Team is hosting a National Lymphoedema Workshop on Monday, 30th November at the Ambassadors Bloomsbury Hotel, 12 Upper Woburn Place, London

The day is hoped to bring together a wide representation from lymphoedema specialists, special interest groups, networks and charities.

The day will cover:-

Introduction to Rehabilitation IOG and levels and work force project
Current context - local and national work and where we are
Current models of lymphoedema provision and challenges/limitations - these have been mapped to the rehabilitation levels
Clinical pathways for lymphoedema (Rehabilitation Workforce Project) and new ones for palliative and head and neck.

The afternoon will be a discussion around the generic service specification for all levels of lymphoedema service as aligned to the rehabilitation levels and lymphoedema skills/training framework and KST

There are however, a limited number of places available and this is capped at 70, therefore, places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Does any patient member wish to go on our behalf to represent the interests of patients? Please let me know.

Best wishes

Vinod
