Dear All
I will be talking about the need for support for Mouth Cancer (Head and Neck) patients and carers at the All Party Parliamentary Group’s Britain Against Cancer 2006 conference on 30th November at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in Westminster during the breakout session called "I’ve got what? Rarer and less talked about cancers." Note: The link gives information about the event and online registration. The organisers have advised me that that free complimentary places are available on a first-come, first served basis for individual patients, and carers when I asked about getting free places for MCF (‘our small, unfunded charity’). I would be delighted to meet you there if you wish to attend. It might be easier for those of you living around London to attend. Please apply directly and let me know if you are going so that you can be part of our delegation. MCF will be able to provide some limited assistance to 'mouth cancer' members wishing to attend. It would be good to have ‘mouth cancer’ patient and carer representation at the conference and also to meet some of you. I would love to have gone to this and I started to fill in the online booking form for delegates.......untill I realised that my partner Jane is is having Surgery that very day, 30th Nov, for her Carpal tunnel (thumb/hand). If anything changes I will try to make this event.

Hello Steve
Hope things go well with Jane's carpal tunnel op. It is a standard surgical procedure and will relieve the discomfort. Brenda Brady, John Spencer and Kezia have planned to go. Hope to see more members there.
