Just before papa's surgery, he has had high BP, and is now on medication for it. We suppose that is stress related. Since he is to start erbitux soon, I am wondering if he still will need his medication for BP. I guess we will find out.
Papa also has a very stiff collar bone on the left side (surgery side), but it seems to be improving very slowly. The oncosurgeon seems to not be worried about it but said it could be another 4-5 months to fully recover. And finally, he gets a severe migraine on the left side also, in the late afternoons usually, which excedrin seems to fix miraculously (he says). So, in case none of you at least relate to thise post-op symptoms (in which case please chime in), I thought I'd post them for those who come here later with similar complaints, to know they aren't alone! |
