Hello heroes!

I have been given some BETAMETHASONE SODIUM PHOSPHATE 500 MICROGRAM TABLETS. The instructions are to dissolve in 10ml of warm watar and rinse around the mouth 4 times a day. Now here's the thing...I am a bit thick and there is no instructions other than that - so does anyone know if I am supposed to swallow or spit out the rinse? I am spitting it out but I'm not sure if this is right. Can't contact the consultant till tomorrow - if I am VERY lucky. Any help advice or comments gratefully recived!

I am rather in a confused state at the moment as my biopsy results were negative but have all the signs of malignant cancer setting in. Also have an infection but swab resulted in an all clear report. That's why I am now on these tablets - but instructions missing other than "rinse".

Best of everthing to everyone and I hope I am in more pain than you are!

Tony

It is a mouth rinse for topical effect to reduce mouth ulcers (anti-inflammatory action), so spit out after swilling the mouth for a minute.
