Well, I am finally almost through with my RAD. Only 9 more to go. I am having alot of pain in my throat and tongue. I have also lost 20 + lbs. But, will continue to drink and eat what I can with no PEG.
I am now looking forward to getting my tastebuds back and gaing weight, which is strange, because I have always wanted to loose weight..LOL. If any one thinks they would benefit from my experiences, I would be more than happy to talk with them. Let me know. Hugs and Love!!! Helloooo from Melanie -- (just two states up in the "Old Dominion")
Let me just say (yell!)... Way to go, Molly!!!! Twenty pounds is not a bad weight loss, considering. You did good!!!!!!! I am certain that your experience would be of great benefit to others facing radiation. Isn't it great to now be in a position to support, enlighten, and encourage others who are newly diagnosed from the perspective of someone who has "been there" and did just fine!? Looking forward to your upcoming notes after post-treatment scans reveal the ALL CLEAR!!! Best wishes for a speedy recovery once treatments are ALL DONE! Melanie |

BUT A YEAR DOWN THE LINE THE WEIGHT HAS GONE BACK ON, STRANGE HOW IT CAN GO ON SO QUICK KEEP WELL BEST WISHES TRACEY |
