I am in Minnesota, USA. I understand that Mucodyne has been successful in relieving the thick mucus problem. I don't think it is available in the states. None of my docs have heard of it. Any suggestions? Also, is anyone recieving Ethyol injections. Man, they are really making me sick, and I am thinking of stopping the injections. It is suppose to save my saliva glands.

Looks like i am doing it right......

Hi Phil,

Just read your comments on Ethyol, this disturbed me a little as i have been nagging my oncologist about radioprotectors, trying to get him to try them out [on me ]. I'm very worried about a dry mouth and all that goes with it and i'm prepared to try anything that might help save my salivary glands.
How's it going with the injections? are you still having them? how bad is/was it really? i'm keen to have any info at all about this treatment.

Regards
Pete

Just finished my series of injections. Did they give them in your belly? I had a great nurse who really encouraged me to HYDRATE. (That is the trick)Drink that whole bottle of water they gave you and hang in there. It will get better.
