Hi! All

Well I have just returned from the ENT Specialist and given the all clear from my CT Scan and Barium Swollow BUT he has booked me into the RAH for my throat to be enlarged and something removed from within the throat(non "C")and I don't have to see him again until the 23rd of March, however I will be seeing the Oncologist on the 12 of March and the Dentist on the 14th of March so should know more then.

Trev,

So glad to hear the good news. I felt for you when you said in an earlier post that your mind was "in a spin" or similar -- we felt the same way last week before getting a good report from Stephen's ENT.

Have a good celebration!

Hi Gals,
Yes it is good news and I do feel comforted by it and can now look forward to the next lot of ordeals(well maybe not ordeals).
Cockey (did I spell that right) ThinkingNO I haven't written the dates on my calendar as mine is still 2007(but good pictures), however Deb has put the dates in her diary ( if I miss an appointment it will be Deb's fault) Big Grin.
Ange & Chelle yes please uncross and start breathing again alls well and thankyou for your thoughts.
Kathleen, Mum & Fran to you also thanks, it is a relief when you are given an all clear and one feels silly having had the thoughts that I had had,BUT I would imagine that anybody that has gone through the "C" treatment must at sometime wonder if it is ALL gone or a new strain visiting us?.
Again thanks Gals

Hi Susan & Steven, and Bev,
Boy you lot snuck in whilst I was posting and I would like to say thank you for your thoughts. Yes I was in a bit of a spin and the spin passed onto Deb as well which was a worry as she is very busy in her new job and doesn't need the distractions, however things did turn out for the best in the end apart from having to go back to the RAH (Royal Adelaide Hospital)and have my throat expanded (I wonder if they can take it out to about 3 inches and then I could go into eating competitions)and something removed that is deep in my throat(brought about by the RT(god I hate that thing))
Once again thanks.

Hi Liz
Here I am stepping in for Trevor once again. And the reason? He's out like a light (again!).
So much for coming home from work to a welcoming husband! Only joking, Trevor had a lovely meal waiting.
I had thought that maybe Trevor would come to realise that he needs to pace himself however I've decided that just isn't going to happen any time soon. He hasn't had a 'nap' all weekend, which he gets all excited about but it doesn't do him any good because next thing he's out cold and that's the end of him.
I'll just get back to my sewing and talk to my silly self, afterall it's only our anniversary!!!!
Hope you're on top of things Liz.
Love
Deborah

Hi Liz
There goes Deb again jumping in on my mail, OK I am slow keeping up to it but? I sit down at the laptop and I am lost for words and then I think of something that needs doing and go and do it and promptly forget what it was that I was going to do(Dam) Banghead,as for cocky yes it does signify one of our local Farmers, but it also means someone who is " excessively proud of themselves " or a smarty pants ( in a nice sort of way ). And as for "is the heat getting to me " NO I am sitting in our AirConditioned house and I don't plan on going outside to feeeeel the heat (the AC doesn't reach the office( another reason to not answer the mail)and that is the hottest room in the house and I am to lazy to carry my Lap Top out to the Family room.
Gosh I waffle on!
I hope that you are coping with things as they are and I do hope to hear from you again, so keep on posting, as you are a real gem.
Love TREV
