You don't have to do the full 10K to get your medal and goodie bag. It's the participation and having fun on the day that counts!
There is no pressure whatsoever and everyone should do whatever they can enjoy. All the best, Krishan |

200 mins
I finished my treatment late November.My main problem is weight loss.I lost 3 and half stone taking me below 9.10.I have managed to get back up to 9.11 The Radiotherapy took its toll but I have been out for a couple of runs(and walks Will keep in touch but I am already making plans for sponsorship |

Robert
Yes, that was quite a loss. I went down from 11 stone to 9:07, now back up to just over 10 stone which is good enough for me. Losing a bit of fat helps with running, but only after you've got the muscle back! The other thing is getting the blood count fully back - still eating marmite & drinking Guiness to help with that. |

Thanks for the advance notice of the change of date.
I'll be coming again this year, and hope to run it again. 200 mins - whereabouts in Devon are you? My late husband was originally from nr Exeter so you may have seen bits about him in the local press as I try to raise funds and awarness for the MCF. Kezia |

Hi Kezia
I live in Exeter - are you still in the area? Dave |
||||
|

|
Hi Dave
I'm in Bristol, but my late husband (who had Mouth Cancer) was originally from Honiton, and lived/worked in Exeter and Sidmouth until 1998 when he moved to Bristol. They'll be a fundraising cricket match at Sidmouth Cricket Club on Sunday 26th August if you're interested in coming along. Paul used to be a captain of the 2nd XI and every year now there is a Sidmouth Past v Sidmouth Present match which plays for the Paul Beament Memorial Trophy. Let me know if you want any more information. Kezia |
