It was a beautiful morning in Hyde Park on Sunday and it 'did your heart good' to see so many people doing the 10k walk and raising awareness in such a public place. Full marks to Vinod and all his family for putting on such an excellent event. It was good to be able to put a face to the name of many members of this website. Well done to everyone who took part - at last we are raising the profile and making people aware of mouth cancer. John and I got very strange looks when we returned to the hotel with extra large tee-shirts over our coats and bright blue medals around our necks!

Hi, I just want to join in for thanking Dr Joshi's family. It was lovely event, my daughter and I have enjoyed it very much (though we cheated a bit, by taking some short cut).

Next year I would like to know all the members' numbers in advance so that I will be able to say 'Hello'. I was guessing some young numbers must have been members'..(i.e. I was 04) but I couldn't be sure!

Ryoko xx

Hi all, just want to say i really enjoyed my day on sunday, especially meeting so many nice people. The weather was great and it was certainly worth the trip to London. Can't wait for next year!!!!

Thanks Brenda. It turned out to be a bit easier than I thought it would - perhaps because it was so important to get the message across. They edited out rather a lot of waffle, but I liked the way they cut in the last bit - made it sound quite dramatic.

Bones recovered now thanks! Smiler
